It doesn’t matter who we are, we are doing what we can during this difficult time. For some people, it means staying in as much as possible and doing their best to stay healthy.
There was another type of help given by Steph & Ayesha Curry, however, during the coronavirus pandemic.
That couple has a foundation, Eat.Learn.Play, located in the bay area and they are providing meals to many people.
In fact, some 15 million free meals have already been provided. They work along with more than 130 restaurants and food associated businesses. In other words, they are doing more than providing nutritious meals to people in need, they are helping those businesses stay afloat.
Steph Curry has also been working along with chef José Andrés, providing meals to those who have suffered from natural disasters. It is a partnership of foundations, helping many in Oakland that have been impacted negatively in multiple ways.
The mission of the Eat.Learn.Play foundation is to unlock the potential of every child, ending childhood hunger and making sure that quality education and safe places are available for children to learn and play.
When you tally things up, some $20 million has been funneled back into the local economy by this superstar couple, Chef Andrés, and their two foundations.
