This time of year, beavers get grumpy — it’s cold, their homes are iced over, and it’s not exactly easy to go out and forage for food when they have to dig themselves out of their frozen-over aquatic front door.
Otters, on the other hand, have an insulated coat and the pond that they share with the beavers is full of fresh fish for dinner. However, the go-lucky antics of the happy otter don’t seem to go over too well with his buck-toothed neighbor.
In fact, most people wouldn’t be too fond of having someone super excited harassing them when they are having a plain old bad day. But in the animal world, there is no such thing as having too much fun, especially for otters. They just can’t help themselves!
Watch the video to see what happens when a giddy otter tries to make friends with an angry beaver.
