Mom Gives Back To The Community By Buying Random Strangers’ Groceries

Many of us have had to tighten our belts due to the ongoing pandemic. In 2020, some 265 million people are facing food insecurity, which is a 100% increase from last year. A mother wanted to help out so she decided to head to the grocery store.

As a mother of three from Concorde, New Hampshire, Brandy Bisson, is aware of how much food a family can go through. In order to put “smiles on people’s faces,” she pulled out her wallet and spent $600 of her own money.

A news station, WMTW, said that she felt it was only right to give back to the community. It was the same community that gave a birthday parade for her seven-year-old son.

According to the outlet, she said: “With the pandemic and everything and all the election stuff, I just wanted to bring smiles to people’s faces.” The story was put on Facebook by a grocery store cashier who posted a picture of the kind deed in action.

Amazingly, she didn’t only do this once, she even went back to pay for another woman’s groceries. That woman also expressed her gratitude and was even crying! She thanked Bisson, saying that she didn’t understand what it meant to her.

According to her GoFundMe, Brandi has since helped over 60 families put food on the table and spent over $2,000 of her own money.

It seems as if Brandy’s mother had a kind heart and loved giving back to the community, setting the example for her daughter to follow. Since Brandy is not struggling financially at this point, she wants to give back when she can.
