As children, we are usually excited when we lose a tooth. It wasn’t because we were growing up, or because we would have a tooth gap that we could whistle through. It was because we could put that tooth under our pillow, and when we woke up in the morning, we would have some money to spend.
Amaya Thompson is a five-year-old from Stevenage, UK. She was excited because she put two teeth under a pillow and there was £50 when she woke up.
She didn’t want to spend the money on a videogame or other item, instead, she asked her mother if she could do something special with it. She decided that the money should go to the homeless.
In order to take care of the task, she created 20 bags to give to the homeless with the help of her mother.

Some people may wonder why she got so much for losing only two teeth. Her mother, Samantha Field, said she is an only child and the only granddaughter in the family, so people were being generous and wanted to take part in that special moment.
The charity, “Feed up Warm up” was used to help distribute the packages to local homeless individuals. People were thrilled with what this little girl decided to do, so they arranged additional bags to be made.
