This amazing video tells the story of a great-grandmother who delivers 200 sack lunches every day to needy children. When she learned that funding restrictions had eliminated free lunches for kids during the summer, retiree Phyllis Shaughnessy went into action, reports Huffington Post. She established Green Lantern Lunches, which delivers free, non-perishable meals to low-income kids who might otherwise go hungry when school is not in session. Along with a small group of volunteers, Shaughnessy works every day without pay to ensure that kids in her community are fed. The program even gives out school supplies at the start of the school year.
